Committees
Budget Committee
Is composed of the Executive Committee, who will,
beginning in October of each year, prepare a budget for the operation of the
Organization and will submit it to the Board of Directors by January 1st for
approval. Supplemental adjustments will be made only with the approval of
the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.
Entertainment Committee
Is responsible for planning and organizing our major
social events throughout the year including the annual Picnic and Christmas
Party

Health and Welfare
Is responsible for review, evaluation and
recommendations for improvement in benefits of the Pension System, Relief,
Hospitalization, Credit Union, Funeral, Insurance, and any other programs so
designated by the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.

Legal Committee
Is responsible for making recommendations to the
President on members requesting legal assistance submitted to the
Association as set-forth in the Legal Counsel Guidelines. If you are in need

Legislative Committee
Is responsible for all legislation submitted by or
for the welfare of the Organization members. They will be responsible for
keeping the Executive Committee advised on such matters.
Committee Chairman: Lt. Thomas Percich
Membership/Nominating Committee
Is responsible for (1) contacting potential new
members who have been promoted in rank; (2) annually review the Department
rolls to determine those individuals who have not joined and encourage them
to join; (3) to review resignations and makes recommendations to the
Executive Committee.
They are also responsible for conducting and supervising all
official nominations and elections of all members of the Board of Directors
and delegates of the Organization when appropriate.

Miscellaneous Committee
Is responsible for coordinating events with or for the
retirees. They make arrangements for the purchase of the retirees gifts and
assist in other matters delegated to them by the President or members of the
Executive Committee.
